Strength Training for Endurance Athletes

The greatest misstep an endurance athlete can make is to skip the strength training element of their program. Ironically the vast majority of them do. Find out what strength training you need to do and how you need to do it to continue to improve your performance.
Join National Irish TT Champion and Cycling Coach Olivia Dillon and CPT/USAT coach Joel Ramirez for a 90 min workshop (45 min. lecture & 45 min. exercise) on strength training. They will explain the do’s and dont’s on how to get lighter, leaner, stronger and faster.
You will learn how to:
• Build strength and flexibility
• Minimize the chance of injury
• Improve resistance to fatigue
• Improve power and speed
